Commissary for public relations

Bitstars is a start-up located in Aachen and spin-off of the RWTH Aachen University. Its main goal is the innovative usage of augmented reality in mobile entertainment and edutainment as well as industrial manufacturing. Among others, our creative solutions are already being employed by Bosch. This summer we concluded our Early-Stage-Financing round with a proper six-figure amount. We are looking for a bright mind to promote our ideas increasing increase our level of awareness and expand our market range.

What we offer:

At bitstars you work with a young and motivated team to create innovative content. You will have a great deal of autonomy as well as the opportunity to involve yourself in the expansion process of a start-up. It is up to you to allot your working time and adapt it to your needs.

What you will contribute:

You will work closely together with the management on marketing and PR tasks.

  • Preparation and distribution of press releases
  • Handling our public appearance in social media, e.g. Facebook, Twitter etc.
  • Autonomous preparation of articles and news for our homepage, publications and research
  • Conception and preparation of contents for the public representation of bitstars at events, exhibitions, contests etc.

    • Your profile:

  • You have a degree in journalism, media and communication science or other social science
  • You have an entrepreneurial mind-set and are prepared to act proactively, carrying out decisions autonomously
  • Your strength is, besides an independent working moral, to autonomously design content as well as the ability to openly communicate with others
  • You are interested in new technical and computer-based devices as well as the use of wearables such as Google Glass
